Group Trip FAQ's

Can I bring a guest or guests with me to this trip?

Absolutely! You are more than welcome to bring as many guests as you’d like. The hotel rooms have a maximum occupancy of 2 adults. European rooms are smaller than USA rooms. (Solo travelers pay a premium because the cost of the room is not split between 2 people.) We highly recommend that everyone find a roommate. We are creating a list of people that are seeking roommates. We can pair you with someone and the two of you can connect and meet to decide if it’s a good match before you book!


What is the payment plan?

You make a $500 deposit to lock in your rate, flight, and room. Your remaining balance is due 30-45 days of the trip. You can choose to make partial payments in between or a lump sum payment when the balance is due. Unless you purchase trip protection, the deposit is non-refundable. 

How do I make payments?

You can pay via PayPal, Square Cash, Google Pay, Zelle, Venmo, or Bank of America deposit. You will receive a formal emailed receipt with your remaining balance within 24-48 hours of your payment. Email to let us know that you’ve made a payment. (There is a 3% surcharge for credit card payments)

Can I get Trip Insurance?

Yes! There are two types of coverage and the price is based on the amount of your trip. The basic Travel Protection Plan will refund you in the form of a gift certificate and Travel Protection Plus will refund you in cash. Feel free to read about the other benefits of each plan at the link below.  (The cost of Travel Protection is paid within 7 days of when you book your trip; it is typically paid along with your initial deposit) You will receive a quote for trip protection once your trip is booked.

How will the group get transported from the airport to the hotel, and vice versa?

For European group trips, you will be responsible for your transportation upon arrival. We recommend that you use Uber or airport taxis. We do not recommend that you book transportation in advance since flight schedules and arrival times can change. In Amsterdam, the train is $6 and the train stop is 10 minutes walking from the hotel. In both Paris and Amsterdam, you can take an Uber for less than $50 and it’ll fit 4 people.

Can I upgrade my room?

Absolutely! As long as the hotel has availability, you can upgrade your room. Feel free to take a look at the hotel's website or request an upgrade. Otherwise, your room category will default to the most economical room available, which comes along with the price quoted. 


What is the benefit of using a Travel Agent versus booking on Expedia, Orbitz, or Travelocity.

We prefer that all guests book through Just Book It Travel. Since the price quoted includes a group discount, you’ll never pay more by using us versus booking on your own. We are also able to more easily keep the group organized and informed by everyone booking centrally.  

Can I travel with a companion that is flying from a different city than me?

Yes! Let us know which cities each guest is traveling from and we can arrange that.

What if I need to cancel my trip and I did not purchase Travel Protection?

Please refer to the cancellation fee schedule at the bottom of your itinerary. If you purchased Travel Protection, ignore this fee schedule.

Can I book just the hotel with the Travel Agent and book my flight separately?

Yes! You can either contact me to book your flight at a later time or you can book your flight separately. 

What other services does Just Book It Travel offer?

Am I able to accrue airline rewards for this trip?

If you are a Delta Skymiles member, please send me your Skymiles number. Because you are each purchasing flights + hotels, you are eligible for bonus points. 

Are tours and excursions included in the cost of the trip?

ToTours and excursions are not included in the cost of the trip. I am happy to make recommendations of things to do during your stay in each destination, however, I recommend that each guest pre-plan the activities not an organized tour-type trip. The great news is that the hotels are centrally located so public transportation should be fairly easy.
